This semester is flying by! I've been in Venice for about a month already, and it seems like only yesterday my mom and i were on a vaporetto going down the Grand Canal to find our hotel.
Nonetheless, I have been here a month and my first break is upon me! I will be travelling to Budapest and Prague with friends from my house. I'm so excited to visit both cities...If you've ever been or know anything about either city i'm welcome to suggestions...
So for about a week and a half I won't have access to internet...or rather I will have access but I'm not taking my computer, both because it's heavy and i don't want to risk getting it stolen but mostly because it's nice to leave technology behind for a bit. That being said I'm going to try and take notes during the week so i remember things to write about when I get back.
Anyway...tomorrow the trip starts with an overnight train from Venice to Budapest. We leave at 9pm and don't arrive until almost 11am. I'll be in Budapest until the 20th and then we're taking a train to Prague where I will be until the 24th. On the 24th we're taking an overnight train from Prague back to Venice. In between we have no plans. I like that i'll be in each city for 4+ days so hopefully we can explore in depth and not feel rushed.
