yummy

Today was a long day. I had 3 classes and had to lead a class discussion in one of them. I had to get up at 7am to prepare and then had classes and meetings until about 4pm. After classes I finally booked my hotel for Barcelona. I'll be there from Feb 1st to Feb 4th, if you have any suggestions about where to go please let me know. The hotel was cheaper than a hostel if we all (me, Jess and Jenny) split it and it's in a good location. So I think it should work out, i hope...
After than I finally went to Billa (the supermarket here). It's supposed to rain for about the next three days...I think they're expecting acqua alta (high water). In Piazza San Marco they set up the tables that you walk on when the city floods. So I had to go to Billa and get some food because I had none. When I got back from Billa I made a turkey cutlet and Pasta Cacio e Pepe

It's a lot easier than it sounds. It's basically Penne that you boil and then add olive oil, freshly grater pecorino romaro, arugula and black pepper. I kind of made up the proportions as I went, everything here is in the metric system and recipe is not. But it was delicious I must say...and that's a good thing because i'll probably be eating it for the next 3 days
